He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Horton and Beatrice Avery; his son John C. Horton; and his brother William Horton. He is survived by: his children, Robert S. Horton (June), Glenn D. Horton (Sharon Zimmerman) and Elizabeth A. Lindsay (Ed Mattingley); his daughter-in-law Susan Horton; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
