He is survived by: his children, Joan Mackay, Gerald DeShane, Mary DeShane and Betty Ann Berthiaume; his grandchildren, Tammy Ann Berthiaume and John Wood; his siblings, Robert DeShane (Hazel), Edward DeShane, David DeShane (Marlys), Richard DeShane and Sally Johnston; and his sister-in-law Janice DeShane (Elmer). He is also survived by several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
