He is survived by: his spouse Caroline Lockwood Duncombe of Briarcliff Manor; his children, Cami Pelz Elbow of Seattle, Patricia Pelz Hart of Aliso Viejo and Sanford M. Pelz of New York City; his grandchildren, Abigail Elbow of Anchorage, Daphne Hart of Denver, Ben Elbow of Anchorage, Chris Pelz and Jon Pelz of New York City; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Elbow (Izzy) of Anchorage and Helen Elbow (Hettie) of Anchorage; his daughter Margaret Livingston Pelz; and also Hewlett. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
