With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Shuhart (Berlin, New York), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on September 26, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie Barkyoumb and Elsie Destromp Barkyoumb; her daughter Natasha Shuhart; and her brother Michael Barkyoumb. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd J. Shuhart; her children, John L. Shuhart (Sandra) of Poestenkill, Michael P. Shuhart of Troy and Mehre V. Strong (Eli) of Berlin; her grandchildren, Danielle Wolfe, Ian, Shelby Hasselwander and Jasmine Roberts; her sisters, Jeanette McGrath (Jack) of Michigan and Lorrie Svehla of Cropseyville; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce and Fred Albert of East Greenbush. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
