With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne M. Maxon of Berlin, New York, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne M. Maxon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Littlefield and Dorothy Heaney Littlefield; her close friend Bud Hall; her partner Allison J. "Bud" Hall, Sr.; her stepchild Jody Hall; and her sister Mary Mastropole.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher G. Maxon (Cindy) of Hoosick and Matthew S. Maxon (JoAnna) of Berlin; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan Maxon, Jacob, Colin and Benjamin Maxon; her stepchildren, Allison "Butch" Hall, Jr. of Ghent, Mark Hall (Marianne) of Berlin, Terry Hall (Barbara) of Berlin and Jennifer Hall (Derek) of Baird, TX; and her sister Cathy Coughlin of Rotterdam. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Taconic Valley Ambulance, PO Box 307, Berlin, NY 12022.

“Anne was a friend and a wonderful Town Clerk! I dealt with her for many years and considered her a good friend. Always smiling and never complaining about her health which I knew was declining. She was also very helpful regardless of my requests. I am so sorry for your loss and want you to know you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings!”
