It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Sherwood of Berkshire, New York, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joann; his parents, Guy Sherwood and Marie Sherwood; and his sisters, Connie Wandell and Mina Babcock.
He is survived by: his children, Leroy (Chip), Kimberly Sherwood Jr., Wayne Sherwood (Patty), Kelly Price (Bob), Karen Stephans and Jerry Wicks (Laurie); his siblings, Nellie Moses, June Ink, Grace Brooks, Doris Wyant (Ken), Starry Sherwood (Sharon), Ed Sherwood (Lena), Lucy Soper (Dave) and Ruth Smith (Dan); and his friends, Roger and Grace Howland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Berkshire Fire Department, 12515 NY 38, Berkshire, NY 13736 in loving memory of Leroy.
