He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his son John Keener, Jr.; his brothers, Donald Keener and Nate Keener; his sister-in-law Jody Keener; and his parents, Nathan Keener and Alice Keener (Gillager).
He is survived by: his children, Ted Keener, Christine Underwood (Willis), Tammy Keener and Lori Piech (Bobby); his grandchildren, Willis, Josh, Brittany, Zach, Jo Jo, Ashley, Lilliana, Niki, David, Dustin, Kirstin, Cole, Tyler, Bobby, Jessie, Tracy, Carrie, Jack, Tasha, Scott, Travis, Rance and Mattaya; his sisters, Sally Richardson, Bea Ellison and Helen Cornell; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Keener. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
