He is survived by: his wife Winifred Lou Shannon Anderson; his children, Mark (Cynthia), Laura Emerson (Glenn) and Scott (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Aaron (Brenda), Daniel (Stacey), Ryan (Alexandra), Ian (Amanda), Christopher, Kyrin Worthington (Alan) and Holland Emerson.

Memorials may be made to the Finger Lakes Trail or plant a tree in his memory.
