It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen E. Mapes (Bergen, New York), born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen W. Mapes and Olive Mapes (Baube). He is survived by: his children, Kyle Mapes of Batavia, Shalyn Mapes of Batavia and Nicole Mapes of Batavia; his siblings, Vicki Moore, Kathy Harting of Batavia and Richard Mapes (Cynthia) of Batavia; and the mother of his children Cindy Mapes. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bergen Volunteer Fire Dept. 10 Hunter St. Bergen, NY 14416.
