He was predeceased by: his parent Reginald Hopkins; and his sibling David Hopkins. He is survived by: his parent Ida Hopkins (Stringham); his wife Donna J. Hopkins (Elliott); his son Gary Hopkins (Nikki) of Bergen; his mother-in-law Nancy Szymanski of Holley; his grandchildren, Connor, Logan and Charlotte; his siblings, Irv Hopkins (Marty), Donna Richardson and Leon Hopkins; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Sibbald (John) of Chili and Walter Elliott, Jr. (Allison). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for distribution to various charities.
