He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Redinger and Eleanor Redinger (Henry); and his sister Carol Austin. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Redinger (John Buettner) and Kevin Redinger; his grandchildren, DeeAnna Redinger (Steve Breitenborn) and Madison Warney; his great grandchild Ava Jane Breitenborn; his sisters, Darlene Lemcke (Jeff), Dawn Cratsley (late Chet), Donna Shady (Ken) and Diane Whyman (Pete); and the mother of his children Robin Redinger Sword. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
