Irene M. Bow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene M. Bow of Bergen, New York, born in Churubusco, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Silver and Lloyd Silver. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Zaremski, Jean Boyce, Marilyn Dupree (late Brad), Donald Bow (Laurie), Ron Bow (Diane), Randy Bow (Christine), Cathy Schmieder (Bill), Gloria Martinson (Gary), Keith Bow (Kate), Robert Bow (late Donna) and Carolyn Bow; her husband Darrell Bow; and her grandchildren, Kristopher Bow, Dustin Bow, Peter Boyce (Connie), Michael Boyce and Kerri Schmieder. She is also survived by many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. (329-333 W Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Ascension Parish (15 Sumner St, Batavia, NY 14020).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org a cause close to Irene's heart.
