She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Schmatz and Irene Schmatz (Stoyle); her spouse John J. Maddigan, Jr.; her children, Laurie Maddigan (Allen Morris) of Boulder City, NV, Roberta Spencer (Michael) of Lockport, Mary Kay Birtch (John) of South Wales, Jennifer Kraft (Ray) of Arcade, Ellen Taylor (Thomas) of Bergen and John J. Maddigan, III (Joann Sees) of West Seneca; her sister Madonna Nagle (late William) of Clarence; her daughter Kristina Purtill (late Edward); and her siblings, Thomas Schmatz (late Bernice), Paul Schmatz and Arline Mullholland (late Arthur). She was also cherished by 28 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
