He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burke and Lucille Helmbold Burke; his wife Pat M. Lawlor Burke; and his grandsons, Edward Burke (Teddy) and Tyler Burke.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Burke (Cindy) of Bergen, Brian Burke (Cary) of Canandaigua and Kevin Burke (Gina) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Lauren, Madison Burke, Genna, Mason, Cole Burke and Valarie Grow (Sam); and his siblings, David Burke (Stephanie) of Bergen, Kathleen Bentley (Langton) of Rochester, Patricia Swapceinski (John) of Bergen and Peggy Ammann (late Jim) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
