He was predeceased by: his father Henry "Hank" Hargis. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sons, Christopher Hargis (Ashley) and Garrick Zibreg; his grandson Theodore Hargis; his daughter Charlotte Withington (Dan); his stepmother Margaret "Peg" Hargis; and his siblings, Anita Malena (Tim), Douglas Hargis (Mary), James Hargis and Brian Hargis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
