She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Nelson Almeter; her parents, George LaWall and Bethel LaWall (Baker); her son Randy Almeter; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Diana Bradley (Austin) and Kelly Skerpan (Justin); her son Ron Almeter (Barbara Fay); her grandchildren, Jason, Kaitlynne Almeter and Mitchell Almeter (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Caleb and Zachary Almeter; her grandson Craig Almeter (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Emily and Nicole Almeter; her granddaughter Penny Cavallaro (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Danny and Justina McSain (Cameron); and her brothers, Gerald LaWall (Bonnie) and George Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Heritage Village in recognition of the loving care Lois received during her time there. Donations will be used to honor the caregivers and staff.
