He was predeceased by: his parent Asa Burton. He is survived by: his parent Mary Jane Hares Cheney; his wife Betty Lou Cheney; his children, Suzanne Knight (David) of Creswell, OR, Martha Anderson (Larry) of Bemus Point, Jim Cheney (Jody) of Bemus Point and Jay Cheney (Kirsten) of North Bend, WA; his grandchildren, Daryl Anderson, Eric Anderson, Jenna, Becca, Laura Knight, John Cheney and Asa Cheney; his great grandchildren, Addi Rathjen, Gavin Rathjen and Calvin Rathjen; and his sisters, Anabel Weise of Mayville, NY, Donna Stage (Del) of Dewittville, NY and Edith Johnson (Bob) of Bemus Point.
