She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin "Bill" and Mabel Smith (Roper); her husband James E. "Ed" Veley; her siblings, Ronnie Roper and Pat Pendleton; and also Albert H. Denning.
She is survived by: her children, William Denning (Pam) of Dansville, Frank Denning (Betty) of Clarendon, Crystal Halbert (Don) of Angelica and Kim Wilcox (Mark) of Fillmore; and her siblings, Ernie Roper (Joan), Roger Roper and Jean Thompson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
