She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Barker and Frances Barker (McGill); her husband Edward G. Hanchett; her granddaughter Kim Thompson; her siblings, Janet Farnum and Michael Barker; and her son-in-law Ray Torres.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Margeson (John) of Scio, Doug Hanchett (Gretchen) of Belmont, Cathy Torres of Corning, Janine Zombek (Tim) of Lexington, KY, Dan Hanchett of Lexington, KY, Betsy Hardy (John) of Black Creek and Georgia Long of Belmont; her grandchildren, Stacey, Craig, Jenny, Cassie, Jason, Amanda, Chris, Josh, Matt, Danielle, Sarah, Jacob, Nathan, Zack and Jordan; and her sister Karen Ferrini. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
