He was predeceased by: his parents, Millicent King (Stuck) and Leland James; his siblings, Norma Winn, Deborah James, Jerry James, Harry Budinger and Kenneth "Jimmy James" Budinger; his niece Christine Carney; his foster brother William Balcom; and his foster parents, Robert A. "Art" Ames, Frances "Fran" Ames and James Balcom.
He is survived by: his foster mother Lois Balcom of Wellsville; his siblings, Marie Belec of Florida, Patricia Johnson of Nevada, Peggy Hurler of Westfield, PA, Larry James of Olean, Terry James of Wellsville, John James, Gary James of Florida and Calvin James; his foster sisters, Delores Ames Whitney, Jacinda Preston (Cyndi) of Wellsville and Debora Polzella of Augusta, ME; his nieces, Alicia James of Chester, VA, Angela Carney and Andrea Hunt of Hornell; and his cousin Barb Woolston (Dan) of Belmont.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA located in Belmont and the Allegany County Trap, Neuter, Return, serving the Village of Wellsville.
