In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Casey, Brendan and Erin; his siblings, Janet Posillico (Kenny) and John; his nieces, Caitlin and Zoey Getzler; and his nephew Keith Posillico.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Clair's. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. (302 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barnabas R. C. Church (2320 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710).
