He is survived by: his parent Sarah Boyce Schmalenberger; his wife Trudy Schmalenberger; his children, Cheryl Ruppel (Kenneth) of Bay Shore, NY, Joseph Schmalenberger (Patricia) of Bay Shore, NY, Jimmy Schmalenberger (Catherine) of East Islip, NY and Keith Schmalenberger (Katie) of Bay Shore, NY; and his brother Peter Schmalenberger of Bellmore, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
