It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha G. Marquardt (Bellmore, New York), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ernest and Eugene Maier; her stepdaughter Nancy Simora (Milt); and her grandson Sean. She is survived by: her sons, Eugene Maier and Walter Maier (Maureen); her stepchildren, Gregg Marquardt (Sharon) and Helen Bertole; her grandchildren, James, Melissa, Jeffrey, Kerri, Kimberly, Robert, Brian, Jennifer, Keith and Michael; and her son Bedford Ave (Bellmore).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clair's. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. (302 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Barnabas R. C. Church (2320 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenfield Cemetery (650 Nassau Rd, Uniondale, NY 11553).
