He was predeceased by: his parent Ward Steele; his son Barry; his grandson Kirk; and his sisters, Phyllis Parker and Elaine Babbitt.
He is survived by: his parent Thelma Castor Steele; his wife Elsie of Pierrepont Manor; his daughter JoAnne Barkley (Gene) of Pierrepont Manor; his daughter-in-law Jodi Steele of Adams; his grandchildren, Brian Tario (Briana), Corey Barkley (Alexandria), Kyle Steele and Kraig Steele; his great grandchild Kaycee Tario; and his sister Joan Miller.
