He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Allen "Gene" Barkley, Jr. (JoAnne), Raymond Barkley (Christine) and David Barkley; his grandchildren, Brian Tario (Briana), Corey Barkley (Alexandria), Craig Barkley, Sackets Harbor, Nicole (Dillon), Christopher Barkley, Megan (Kyle), David Barkley, Evans Mills and Elizabeth Barkley; his stepchildren, Roxanne, Stevie, Chanel, Xavier Cobb and Jesse Kohl; his siblings, Charles Barkley of Monticello, MS, Victor Barkley (Sissy) and Rose of Bath, NY; his stepsiblings, Morgan Williams of Belleville, NY and Fay Williams-Unamann of Rochester, NY.; his sister Carol Foss; his stepbrother Rick Williams; his parents, Harold Barkley and Nina Backus; and his former wife Tina Cobb. He was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren.
