He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhem Haasters and Franziska Haasters; and his former wife C. Christine Shackleford. He is survived by: his sister Anne Horner of Watertown; his niece Deborah McGaughan (John) of Watertown; his nephew Allen Horner (Annette) of Southington; his great-nieces, Caitlin Lung (Michael), Heather Watson (Brian) and Leslie O'Brien (Garrett); his friend Sal; his nephew Scott; and also, Sophie Lung, Hazel Watson and Owen Lung.
Due to the pandemic, a service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
