It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria D'Onofrio (Bellerose, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Gelsomina "Smallie" DiPrisco; her daughters, Lucy Beirne (Billy), Adele Goetz, Francine Buzzeo (Matt) and Maria Stabinsky (Aaron); and her parents, Adeline Fusco and Alfred Fusco. She was also cherished by her eight grandchildren, great granddaughter, and her many nieces and nephews.

“Hi, i am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed. She was the very first person to welcome me to the neighborhood when we bought our first house . She always had time to say hello and give us a smile. When we helped her shovel the snow, i last saw her dancing at the block party in 2019. I was glad to see her enjoying herself and smiling. , she always had a great smile and a moment to talk. She will be missed. Linda balducci ( formerly of 92 38)”
