He is survived by: his wife Kathy Pierce; his children, Paul and Karen Pierce of Belfast; his siblings, Kathleen, Teresa, Eileen, Geraldine, Marie, Roseann, Michael and John; his parents-in-law, Noel Adams (Nixie), Derek Manning, Charles McBride, David and Diane Clement; and his brother Mick. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
