He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Truax and Margaret E. Truax (Stanley); his son Herman E. Truax; his siblings, James "Jim" Truax, Theron Truax, Buster "Ralph" Truax and Lorraine Caldwell; and his sister-in-law Pamela Truax.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Cockle of Arizona, Norm F. Truax (Dawn) of Silversprings, NY, Clayton A. Truax (Colleen) of Alfred and Tammy L. Witt (Jim) of Statesville, NC; his grandchildren, Jennifer Schole (Chris), Michael Truax, Bill Truax, Lois Truax, Stacy Longdue (Rick), Norm Truax Jr., Charise Truax, Thomas Truax (Morgan), Randy Truax, Clayton Witt, Jon Witt and Marcus Witt; his siblings, Fran Storey (Art), Milford Truax, Duane Truax (Shirley) and Winston Truax (Barb); and his siblings-in-law, Ros Truax, Dorothy Truax, Katie Truax and Bob Caldwell. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
