We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2021, at the age of 70, Charles H. Shafer of Belfast, New York, born in Cuba, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Henry and Rose Mary Williams Shafer; his wife Linda Twichell; his children, Charles A. Shafer (Rhonda) of Harrison Valley, PA, Rosa L. Hauss of Emporium, PA and Holly L. Shafer-Mead (Steven) of Olean; and his siblings, Mark Shafer (Diane) of Belfast, Glenda Hurlburt (Harold) of Wellsville and Pamela Cook (Harold) of Friendship. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
