She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fenton and Evelyn Fenton (Feeney); her spouse Francis Royal Histed; her siblings, Jack Fenton and Ruth Comstock; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Histed.
She is survived by: her children, John Histed of Belfast, Timothy Histed of Belmont, Robert Histed (Lorrie) of Belfast, Patrick Histed (Darlene) of Belfast, Rebecca Shafer (Stan) of Belfast and Elizabeth Cole (Jeff) of Belfast; and her sister Betty Fenton of Hornell. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Kate's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000 – Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 38148.
