He is survived by: his wife Tamara Jo Cockle; his children, Shawna Hodgkins (Darin) of Bolivar and Corey Cockle (Pam) of Angelica; his siblings, Larry Cole of Buffalo, Leroy Cole (Rose) of Belmont, Terry Cole of Batavia, Roger Cole of Erie, PA, Barry Cole (Mary Lou) of Georgia, Jeffrey Cole (Elizabeth) of Belfast, Bonnie Vince (Charlie) of Freedom, NY, Susan Thompson (Scott) of Avon, NY, Linda Hennard (Don) of Belfast and Laura Davis (Denis) of Birdsall, NY; and his grandsons, Conner and Carson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
