With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Gabriel Dignan (Bedford, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Austin and Ann Higgins Austn; her husband Patrick Gregory Dignan; and her granddaughter Kelsey Rose Dignan. She is survived by: her children, Patrick (Joanne), James (Anne Marie), Ellen (Marc), Brian (Julie Ann), Ann (Richard), Kevin (Patricia), Elizabeth (Glenn), John (Catriona), Donald (Faith) and Lily. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 50 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Patrick's Church (7 Pound Ridge Rd, Bedford, NY 10506). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
