He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanine Hess Collier; his sister Patricia Woodward; and his son-in-law James Gouchie. He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Moreland of Homer and Nancy Gouchie of Tully; his granddaughters, Kristin Moreland, Melissa Campos (Miguel), Corrine Mitsiell (Philip) and Heather Duff; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jonah, Nina, Jadin, Jackson and Olivia; his brother Robert Collier (Nancy) of Boone, NC; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
