He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Ascenzi and Julia Ascenzi (Fanilla); his wife Lillian Ascenzi (Perez); his granddaughter Jennifer; and his children-in-law, Gary Xifo and Jacqueline Ascenzi (Ruvolo).
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Xifo (Ascenzi), Thomas Ascenzi and Michael Ascenzi [Jamie]; his grandchildren, Mark, Brian, Kathryn [Justin], Thomas, Gabriella, Michele and John; and his sister Rita Finch (Ascenzi). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
