Susan L. Gavigan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan L. Gavigan (Beaver Falls, New York), born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick C. Gavigan; her great-niece Elizabeth Rose Sadar; and her parents, Morris Bourcier and Gladys Sweeney Bourcier. She is survived by: her children, Michael A. (Karen Gavigan), Rebecca L. Gavigan (John Flihan) of Utica and Michele A. (Darin Chartrand); her grandchildren, Katelyn McKinney, Matthew Sterling, Connor McKinney, Catherine Roggie, Jesse Smith, Liz Fusco, Jeff Evans, Shane Chartrand, Anne Chartrand, Jacob Chartrand and Ruth Chartrand; her sister Laura Hagar of Norwood; her nieces and nephews, Jason, Angel Bourcier, Teresa and Tyler Sadar; her great-nephews, Jeremy and Isaiah; her nieces and nephews, Jerry, Bethany Hagar and Lucas Hagar; her sister-in-law Carol Bourcier (family: Eva Mizgala, Matthew Yudichak, Dakota Lipari, Shelly Gokey, Morgan Wewer) of Potsdam; and her friend Rev. Bruce Chapman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, plus her chosen family.

Any food donations may be made directly to the church fellowship hall beginning at noon on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Beaver Falls Fire Department, P.O.
