She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Ellen Anne Vinkey; her former husband Victor Fowler Vinkey; her sister Keitha J. Farney; her grandmother Farney White; her grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth Baschwitz, Ella Marie Baschwitz and Anya Vinkey Krishnan; and her parents, Ray H. Farney and Marguerite Northroup Farney. She was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews.
