He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Taylor; his children, Janet Austin and Barry Austin; his siblings, Leonard, Kenneth Austin, Norma Yousey (Ed) and Pauline Merry (Ceylon); and his parents, Leon A. Austin and Verda Waldron Austin.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth; his sons-in-law, James Monnat of Croghan and Birlyn Flint of Wakefield, MA; his siblings, David Austin (Elizabeth) and June Austin; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Austin and Marcia Dinkle.
