He was predeceased by : his parents, Jerome Champion and Lillian Champion; and his sister Irene Williamson. He is survived by : his children, Julie A. Champion (Bobby Crissinger) of Watkins Glen, Ronald J. Champion Jr. (Dani) of Waterloo, Gregory M. Champion (Melissa) of Charleston, SC and Madeline M. Champion of Walworth; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, Chloe, Nicolas, Kyra, Ryleigh, McKenna, Emma, Ian and Claire; his great grandchild Amelia; and his sisters, Viola Coney of Lodi, Connie Dresser (Ken) of Lodi and Phyllis Champion of Lodi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
