He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Douglas Van Etten Jr. and Mae Van Etten (Rose); his wife Vickie Van Etten of Beaver Dams; his daughter Shalene Mack (Van Etten) of Corning; his stepsons, Kenny King and Josh Corwin; his son-in-law Dennis Mack; his grandchildren, Braylon Mack, Kaori Mack, Caleb Nagy, Logan Van Etten, Lily King, Caleb King and Joslyn Corwin; his siblings, Rick Van Etten and Ina Froehlich; and his son Shane Van Etten. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
