He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Place Cross; his children, Robert (Vicky Tabler-Cross), Gary Cross (Darcy), Bonnie Depee (Vernon) and Karen Dunn; his sister Sandra Reap (Ed); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Vernon, Kyle, Chad, Nathan, Nicholas and Skyler.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad.
