He is survived by: his wife Hildagarde Tullulah Pickens; his children, William James Pickens, Jr. (Pete) of San Francisco, CA, Nakia Tullulah Alexander of West Hartford, CT and Amanda Pickens-Ewell of West Orange, NJ; his grandchildren, Hudson Alexander, Jack Ewell and Genesis Ewell; his sons-in-law, Wes Alexander and Quincy Ewell; his siblings, Barbara Spells and Edward Pickens; and his sisters-in-law, Kitrena DuBose Foster and Michelle Pickens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lodge 130 Deerfield Rd. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
