She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Murphy and Bridget Murphy (Canning). She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Maksim; her brother Jerry Murphy (Eileen); and her nieces and nephews, MaryKate, Reagan and Owen.
When she moved to Beacon, she was involved with volunteering with ARF, the Animal Rescue Foundation in Beacon which was a perfect fit for her as she loved all animals, especially cats & dogs.
