He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Jennie Lyman James; and his siblings, Dr. Reuben James, Carlton Paul James and Mary Schmidt.
He is survived by: his sister Keitha MacIntire; and his sister-in-law Maryann James. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and Franciscan Brothers.
