She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Phillip Goertz and Vera Barnum Goertz; her husband Edmund Connell; her grandson Michael McElrath; and her sister Elinor Goertz Elder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Connell, Esther Carrington, Kathryn Galarza, Virginia Connell and Judith Connell; her sister Jacqueline Moroau; and her sister-in-law Grace Short. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
