She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred J. Deacon and Dorothy Lounsbury Deacon; her daughter Patti O'Connell; her siblings, Janette Herman and Richard Deacon; and her son-in-law Paul Skidmore.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel O'Connell; her children, Tom O'Connell, Carol (Ricky Peets) and Clintondale; and her brothers, Terry of Florida and Robert "Bob" Deacon of Florida. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
