It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis J. Amoroso Sr. (Beacon, New York), who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Amoroso and Judith Stella Amoroso. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Teesha" Steffanci; his children, Teresa Greenough (Rush) and Louis Amoroso, Jr. (Denise Santori Bresciani); his grandchildren, Victoria, Jake (Emily) and Mia; his friends, Pat Kelliher, Randy Casale, Don Gallo, Dave Papo and Bill "Alky" DiCastro; his pets, Armani and Bronx; his brother Gerard; his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Matthew Staniewicz; his niece Alexandra Page; and his friends, Linda Kelliher, Joe, Ellen Gerentine, Bill Komisar and Richard "Dick" Dibassio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Louie may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, http://www.lls.org.

Louie was a very good friend of mine and although having moved from Beacon to California many years ago, I've not seen much of Louie over the years, but we've never stopped being good friends. Some of my fondest memories of Beacon are playing softball with he and his brother Jah on Gallagher's Shell softball team.
