She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hughes and Susan Kelly Hughes; her husband Frederick Koverda; her siblings, Patrick Hughes, Francis Hughes, Thomas Hughes (Margaret Ann), Nancy Conrad (Lowel), Sue Tudor (Derek) and Peter Hughes; and her brother-in-law Sherman Turner.
She is survived by: her sister Maureen Turner; and her sister-in-law Joan Hughes. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
As per Lorraine's wishes, memorial donations in her name may be made to either the American Red Cross or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
