He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Powers and Anna Powers (Malloy); his wife Maria D. Powers; and his siblings, Betty and Michael Powers (Maryjo).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Powers of Beacon, Michael Powers of Cohoes, Christopher Powers (Christine) of Highland and Kevin Powers (Anya) of Newburgh; his sister Fran Monroe of Elmira; and his grandson Kyle Joseph Palmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
