He is survived by: his wife Edith McGaughrin; his daughters, Jennifer Piacente and Victoria Mastrantuono (Marcelo); his grandchildren, Nicole, Jordan Piacente, Stephanie and Alexis Mastrantuono; his nephews, Scott Pfundheller and Mark Sykes; his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Tom Knapp; and his nieces, Jessica and Rebecca Knapp.
Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
